We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Supervisor to join manufacturing facility at Village Kultana near Sampla. The candidate will be responsible for supervising quality activities across incoming, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring compliance with quality management systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians, operators, and staff regarding the Quality Management System (QMS).
Attend customer complaints and submit corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) within committed timelines.
Maintain records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing data related to QRQC, PDI fallout, in-process, and incoming inspections.
Ensure implementation of quality standards including Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, PDI, visual inspection, and packing standards.
Ensure implementation of 5S and other quality tools in the workshop.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and demand corrective actions for improvements.
Implement continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, MSA, SPC, etc.
Prepare and submit Daily / Monthly Quality MIS reports to the Plant Head.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, calibration of gauges and instruments, and maintenance of quality instruction sheets.
Perform in-house calibration where applicable and coordinate outsourced calibration when required.
Conduct internal system audits, process audits, and supplier audits.
Manage BOP part inspections as per defined sampling plans.
Maintain supplier rejection data, analyze trends, and work towards reduction of BOP part rejection and supplier rework.
Analyze supplier-related defects and implement countermeasures in coordination with suppliers.
Maintain supplier-related documentation and records.
Perform layout inspection of child parts for NPD (New Product Development) parts.
Maintain daily in-house rejection data and reports.
Attend customer complaints, including segregation activities at customer end.
Prepare One Page Activity (OPA) reports and Quality Flash Notes during customer complaints.
Overall responsibility for Standard Room management and documentation.
Prepare layout inspection reports for new development parts and manage revalidation of parts as per plan.
Drive process improvement through effective work instructions.
Prepare PDI reports and maintain initial supply data.
Update customer complaint effectiveness sheets and ensure closure of actions.
