Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in purchase, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automobile or manufacturing industry.
• Graduate degree in any relevant discipline; candidates with a background in supply chain management or business administration will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, automobile components, raw materials, spare parts, and industrial supplies.
• Proven experience in vendor identification, supplier development, price negotiation, and cost reduction.
• Good understanding of inventory control, material planning, purchase orders, and stock management.
• Ability to evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and purchase or inventory management software.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with production, stores, quality control, accounts, and other departments.
• Must be willing to work at Hisar Road, Rohtak, Haryana.
• Male candidates with relevant industry experience are preferred as per the specified job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all purchasing and procurement activities for the automobile manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and components.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, automobile components, spare parts, consumables, and other required items.
• Prepare, review, and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and operational requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with agreed terms.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid material shortages, production delays, and excess stock.
• Coordinate with production and stores departments to understand material requirements and plan procurement accordingly.
• Analyze purchase costs, market trends, and supplier quotations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, vendor details, and procurement transactions.
• Resolve supplier-related issues involving pricing discrepancies, delayed deliveries, quality concerns, and material shortages.
• Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, quality standards, and applicable business procedures.
• Prepare regular purchase reports, cost analysis reports, and supplier performance summaries for management review.
