Job Description: PPC Executive
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PPC (Production Planning & Control) Executive to oversee production planning, inventory management, and coordination between various departments in manufacturing Unit based in Sec. 17 Bahadurgarh Haryana. The role involves ensuring timely production, efficient utilization of resources, and smooth communication with key stakeholders, including Purchase, Stores, HR, Production, Dispatch, and Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
- Verify and review all incoming orders to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Plan production schedules based on order priorities and delivery deadlines.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor finished goods stock levels to meet order requirements.
- Check raw material stock availability and identify replenishment needs.
- Collaborate with Purchase and Stores departments to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
Raw Material Planning:
- Prepare raw material requirements based on production schedules.
- Communicate effectively with the Purchase/Store team for material requisitions and follow-ups.
- Ensure just-in-time (JIT) inventory to minimize holding costs while avoiding shortages.
Manpower Planning:
- Work closely with the HR department to plan and allocate manpower based on production needs.
- Ensure optimal workforce deployment for maximum productivity.
Production Coordination:
- Develop and implement production plans in coordination with other departments.
- Monitor production progress to ensure adherence to schedules and resolve any bottlenecks.
- Adjust plans as needed to address unforeseen issues or changes in priorities.
Dispatch Coordination:
- Provide detailed reports of finished goods stock to the Dispatch Supervisor.
- Work with the Sales Coordinator to align dispatch schedules with client requirements.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, stock, and dispatch.
- Generate reports on production efficiency, inventory levels, and order fulfilment.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of production processes and materials management.
