We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily production operations, ensuring quality standards, maintaining timelines, and leading a team to meet production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules and workflow
- Ensure optimal use of machinery, manpower, and materials
- Maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
- Monitor production output and adjust processes as needed
- Coordinate with design, quality, and supply chain teams
- Implement lean manufacturing and process improvements
- Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and audits
- Lead and train production staff to improve performanc
- Maintain production records and reports
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in production management within the automobile or auto component industry
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems (ISO/TS), and lean practices
- Proficient in production planning tools, Excel, and ERP systems
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Educational background: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
