Job Description: Factory Supervisor

We are seeking a Factory Supervisor to oversee and manage daily operations in Basai, Gurugram Haryana. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in production supervision, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of furniture assembly, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

• Supervise the entire furniture production process, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their performance.
• Ensure timely completion of orders as per production schedules.

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Manage a team of carpenters, machine operators, and helpers.
• Train and guide workers to improve productivity and workmanship.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies.

Quality Control & Inspection

• Ensure all furniture products meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Identify defects and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct regular checks on raw materials and finished goods.

Inventory & Material Management

• Monitor stock levels of wood, hardware, and other materials.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material replenishment.
• Prevent material wastage and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Machine & Equipment Maintenance

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of woodworking machines.
• Ensure all tools and machinery are in working condition.
• Schedule periodic maintenance to prevent breakdowns.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure workers follow safety guidelines while using tools and machines.
• Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and hazards.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for workers.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, machinery, and furniture assembly.
• Understanding of quality control standards and production processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
