The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, taxation, financial management, and compliance, along with prior experience in the footwear industry. Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance management
- Must have prior work experience in the footwear industry
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Candidate should be detail-oriented and capable of handling deadlines efficiently
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting and financial operations of the company
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and financial records
- Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, tax compliance, and statutory requirements
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and financial institutions
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with accounting standards
- Supervise and guide the accounts team for smooth daily operations
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and company records
- Support management with financial planning and strategic decision-making
