Job Description – Purchase Head

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head for a reputed manufacturing company in Rohtak near Hisar Bypass. The candidate should have 7–8 years of experience in the purchase department within the manufacturing industry and strong expertise in vendor management, procurement planning, and cost control.

The role involves managing end-to-end procurement operations to ensure timely availability of raw materials and optimal cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete purchase & procurement operations for manufacturing unit

• Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts

• Maintain purchase planning, inventory levels, and cost control

• Prepare and analyze purchase MIS and cost reports

• Coordinate with production, stores, and finance departments

• Monitor vendor performance, quality, and delivery timelines

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–8 years of experience in Purchase Department (Manufacturing Industry mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of raw material procurement, vendor development & negotiation

• Experience in ERP / purchase modules / inventory systems

• Understanding of cost optimization and supply chain coordination

• Good communication and negotiation skills
