We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally and Microsoft Excel to join in MIE Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, day-to-day bookkeeping, GST, and financial reporting. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing MIS reports, handling invoices, and supporting overall accounts operations in a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting entries in Tally ERP including sales, purchase, expenses, receipts, and payments.
Maintain general ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
Prepare and update Excel reports, cash flow statements, and other management summaries.
Assist in monthly closing, balance sheet preparation, and profit & loss reporting.
Handle GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance in coordination with external accountants.
Check vendor bills, prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely vendor payments.
Support audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and financial documents.
Coordinate with internal departments for expense tracking and budget management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or trading industries.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas).
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
