Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Sec. 17 Bahadurgarh

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the polymer industry or similar manufacturing setup, preferably involved in the production of raw materials for footwear. This role involves maintaining the health of plant machinery, ensuring minimal downtime, and improving equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical and electrical machinery involved in production.

• Troubleshoot issues in extrusion machines, mixers, chillers, compressors, motors, and utility equipment.

• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.

• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Maintain accurate records of machine logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.

• Monitor and maintain electrical systems, including panels, wiring, and PLC-based equipment.

• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, energy savings, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and statutory regulations.

• Manage a small team of technicians and vendors for external support when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in the polymer/plastic/footwear raw material industry.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot issues independently.

• Familiarity with maintenance software or CMMS systems is an added advantage.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.
