Job Description: Dispatch Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to oversee and manage dispatch operations efficiently in Manufacturing Unit based in IMT Rohtak Haryana. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in logistics/dispatch and strong computer skills to manage tracking, reporting, and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the daily dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries.
Plan, schedule, and assign dispatch tasks to the team.
Monitor shipment tracking, resolve delivery issues, and optimize routes.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch schedules, inventory, and reports.
Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Use Excel, ERP software, and logistics tools for data management and reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Train and guide junior dispatch staff to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments like warehouse, sales, and procurement to streamline operations.
Analyze dispatch performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Key Requirements:
4+ years of experience in dispatch/logistics/supply chain.
Good computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems, Logistics software).
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Knowledge of transportation laws, fleet management, and dispatch optimization.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
