Job Description: Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong expertise in electrical systems and a solid understanding of mechanical work to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment in the cosmetic industry based in Rai Industrial Area, Sonipat Haryana. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling electrical issues independently and also diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in production machinery.
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety and quality standards.
- Install, inspect, and maintain motors, conveyors, packaging machines, and utility systems.
- Work with PLC, VFDs, sensors, and automated systems for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the production and quality teams to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to GMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines in a regulated industry environment.
- Assist in upgrading and modifying machinery to improve productivity.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Industry experience in Pharma, Cosmetic, or FMCG manufacturing is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, PLC systems, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
